Spring registration set for kindergarten and pre-k students

The Fulton County School System announces its spring kindergarten registration dates – Wednesday, May 2, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursday, May 3, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. During these two days, parents of incoming kindergarten students, as well as other new elementary students entering school in August, can register their children for the 2012-2013 school year. Registration will occur at all Fulton County elementary schools.

To register new students, parents should visit the school their child will attend in the fall. A list of documents needed for registration, including immunization requirements for kindergartners and pre-kindergarten students, is posted here. A notarized affidavit of residence also is mandatory for all students.

In addition, 1,678 spaces in pre-kindergarten classes are available at 40 elementary schools throughout the county.

Esther Jackson Elementary is excited to participate in LearnWell, a scientific study designed by Kimberly Clark.  This program will address germ transmission its target is improved student attendance.  If you would like to know more about LearnWell, please refer to the attached documents.

Home Access Center

You can change your contact information and review your child's grades, attendance, discipline information, and class schedule by using Home Access Center.  Use the link under the PARENTS tab above to log on to Home Access Center. You must have a password to login to view your childs account - you can receive your password by visiting the school office during school hours or at our upcoming Curriculum Nights.  You will need a photo id to receive your password.
